Ryan Dunn at Milwaukee BJJ 4 change 2017

Rise Up Martial Arts Academy blue belt Ryan Dunn competed in Milwaukee at BJJ 4 Change’s BJJ Scrimmage at Marquette University on November 18, 2017. We are very proud of Ryan for participating in his first competition, he is also notable for having started training jiu jitsu a bit over a year ago, and has had all of his grappling training through Rise Up Martial Arts Academy.

BJJ 4 Change at Marquette University

BJJ 4 change was started by Chris Martin. BJJ Scrimmages give new BJJ practitioners and grapplers an opportunity to compete with several of competitors at an accessible price. More expensive competitions can cost ten times as much, and the competitor may only get one chance to compete before elimination. Learn more about BJJ 4 Change and BJJ Scrimmages at: bjj.today and like the Facebook page to stay up to date on their competitions.

Most participants went home with free prizes like lunch from Fresh Fin, soap from Grappler Beard and Body , and free Float sessions from Milwaukee Float.

Check out BJJ 4 Change’s video of the event!

BJJ 4 Change is working to brodcast these events as well, and is putting together great compilations of the events. Here is the video from Milwaukee.
